Simply put, AXIS Q3517-SLVE delivers superior video quality. It offers 5-megapixel resolution at full frame rate (up to 30 fps) with Forensic WDR. That means it delivers excellent detail – even when there are moving objects in scenes with both extremely bright and dark areas. Thanks to Lightfinder, you also get sharpness and color in low light. OptimizedIR ensures excellent low-noise video even in complete darkness. Axis Zipstream technology preserves important details in full image quality, while reducing storage and bandwidth by an average of 50% or more.
Ready for the rough stuff - every time
With its marine-grade stainless steel casing, AXIS Q3517-SLVE is designed to be resistant to the corrosive effects of seawater, detergents and other harsh chemicals. It can also withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -50 °C to 60 °C (-58 °F to 140 °F).
Electronic image stabilization keeps the picture steady when the camera is exposed to vibrations. The casing is also vandal resistant with IK10+ rating. And what’s more, even if there is a power outage, redundant DC power and Power over Ethernet helps ensure a reliable power supply to safeguard all your mission critical surveillance.
Crammed with extra features
It comes pre-installed with AXIS Guard Suite analytics for proactive surveillance and saved resources. The two configurable input/output ports can be connected to various sensors like smoke or glass break detection or to devices that control light, doors, etc. You can also use dynamic overlays to add extra information to your video such as alarm information or external data, for example a weather update.
Installation that’s as easy as 1, 2, 3
The installation and maintenance is made easy with several helpful tools such as leveling assistant, auto rotation, remote zoom and focus. AXIS Q3517-SLVE also features flexible cable management and easy conduit connection.
