These all-in-one IP readers include everything needed to manage the full door, including the door lock and door position sensors. Using Power over Ethernet (PoE), they connect to the network with a single cable for both power and connectivity.

Completing your access control system

Axis IP readers are compatible with most RFID credentials, such as AXIS TA4711 Access Card and AXIS TA4712 Key Fob for secure and seamless touch-free entry. Part of an Axis end-to-end solution, they’re designed to work optimally with Axis network door controllers, making it’s possible to control up to 16 readers with one door controller. IP readers with a mullion-mount design are ideal for installation in indoor and outdoor areas where you’re tight on space and they fit perfectly in narrow areas and door frame installations. They can also be installed on exteriors with a nearby security relay accessory for an additional layer of security.

Powered by PoE, a single cable delivers both power and network connectivity. And there’s no need to wire back from the door controller to the reader ensuring streamlined, cost-efficient installation with less cabling. This makes it easy to add more readers and scale the system as your needs grow. And you can even update software and manage access rights remotely, without ever being onsite, ensuring lower costs and higher security.
