All-in-one license plate reading kits
AXIS License Plate Recognition cameras capture high-quality images of license plates in various lighting conditions, making them ideal for parking management, toll roads, and law enforcement applications. With AXIS License Plate Verifier preinstalled, these cameras are extremely easy to set up and use – simply connect, configure, and start capturing accurate license plate data. Our range of cameras cover different use cases and speed requirements, from low-speed urban areas (up to 30 km/h) to highways and motorways (up to 200 km/h).
Radar-video fusion cameras
Axis radar-video fusion cameras combine high-resolution video with radar technology to reliably detect vehicle speed, direction, and wrong-way driving even in low-light or challenging weather conditions. Ideal for intersections, AXIS Q1656-DLE offers detailed analytics for traffic flow optimization, while AXIS Q1686-DLE enables license plate capture and recognition at up to 200 km/h. With license plate recognition software, speed and plate data can be merged on the edge. And radar-video fusion technology also makes it possible to identify speeding or wrong-way driving vehicles.

AXIS Speed Monitor is a free application that seamlessly connects the radar to your camera through edge-to-edge technology. It uses Axis radars to accurately measure vehicle speeds in real-time, helping you monitor speed limits, detect speeding vehicles, collect traffic data for analysis, and enhance road safety efforts. It can also visualize radar data like vehicle speed directly in your camera feed. Radar devices also offer PoE out which can be used to power another device, eliminating the need for a new cable drop.
