How it works

CaseGuard serves as the redaction and transcription layer for footage captured by Axis body-worn and network cameras. Agencies export recorded video and audio from their Axis or evidence-management environment into CaseGuard, which runs entirely on-premises, so no files leave agency control. CaseGuard's AI automatically detects and redacts faces, license plates, badges, screens, and other personal data across video, audio, and still images, and produces searchable transcripts and translations of the same media. The result is disclosure-ready evidence that meets FOIA, FOIL, and privacy obligations without manual frame-by-frame editing. Because CaseGuard operates downstream of capture, it complements any Axis body-worn or network camera deployment without changes to the camera, firmware, or recording workflow.
