Upload: Transfer evidence automatically and securely
Making sure video evidence ends up where it belongs should be as reliable and seamless as capturing it. Axis solutions completely automate secure upload of video to your management system. As soon as an officer puts a camera in a docking station, data is transferred via an HTTPS-encrypted network connection to the system controller. It’s then stored there briefly in an AES256-encrypted storage device before transfer to your management system through another HTTPS-encrypted connection.
Structure and manage: Link video to cases automatically
Every bit of video an officer on the street records has evidentiary value and must be tagged with incident data and assigned an event ID and retention rules – either automatically or manually. Body worn solutions that offer integration with computer-aided dispatch systems (CAD) automatically associate video files with cases. With Axis body worn solutions, when the officer assigned to a call docks their camera, the system automatically links video from the time of that call with the badge ID assigned to it. As a result, investigators and supervisors can quickly and easily find and pull all footage tied to specific cases or officers.
Transcribe: Simplify documentation and reporting
When every minute matters, the less time spent on paperwork and administrative tasks, the better. Our solutions for law enforcement and police officers can include an AI-based speech-to-text transcription tool.* It speeds up documentation and reporting by transforming body worn video and audio into accurate text.*
