Built into AXIS Optimizer and XProtect Update Manager, this solution offers a range of features to help you control door entry, monitoring, assistance, and investigation events. It links cameras to doors so operators can monitor video and door entry and manually compare cardholder images with live or recorded video. It also supports additional access control capabilities, such as automation of door entry events using XProtect Rules Engine, Smart Client-based vehicle access control, and easy management of door entry and calls from intercoms. Plus, it can trigger actions such as turning on lights, playing a prerecorded message, or sending notifications.

Full range of access control features

This solution can manage up to 1,000 doors per server, 64 servers in a multi-server system, and up to 50,000 credentials. It’s packed with both essential door control and advanced security features to support the operator including lockdown, anti-passback, duress PIN, double-swipe, first-person-in, and more. Roll call and mustering reports ensure accurate personnel tracking during emergencies. You can easily add or remove cardholders, set up access rules and zones. It supports flexible and secure authentication using different types of credentials. Plus, all communications are end-to-end encrypted.

This scalable, future-proof solution supports the full range of Axis network door controllers and access control solutions. This ensures flexible installation options: you can choose whether to install controllers by-the-door or centrally. You can seamlessly integrate, for instance, readers, I/O relay modules, intercoms, third-party time and attendance systems. It offers multi-server enrollment, so cardholders can move across all your sites when needed.
