AXIS C17 Network Display Speaker Series combine visual and audio communication for clear and effective messages that let you reach even more people. Featuring an attention-grabbing strobe bar, powerful speakers, and a color display for text, these versatile indoor speakers raise the bar for clear public address in schools, healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, and more. Use them for all your live public address needs, as well as scheduled or event-triggered prerecorded voice messages for safety, intrusion protection, or operational efficiency. They also support bell signals, alarms, and background music.

For full functionality, use the display speakers in combination with the appropriate Axis end-to-end audio management software solution. When you operate the speaker as a standalone device, such as from inside a video management system (VMS), only the device API and web interface settings are accessible. Communication made smart and easy
AXIS C17 Network Display Speaker Series is built on open standards for integration with third-party solutions. Scalable and cost-effective, these all-in-one network display speakers don’t require additional audio equipment or dedicated audio cabling. They’re also packed with smart features. Two-way audio with full duplex and echo cancellation lets a remote operator communicate in real time with people at the scene. Digital signal processing (DSP) ensures clear sound, every time, and I/O ports allow integration with buttons, AXIS C8310 Volume Controller, and more. There’s even a motion detector sensor for automatically triggered announcements.
Easy installation
We believe installation should be quick, easy, and safe – and it shows. For AXIS C1710 Network Display Speaker, simply attach the included wall-mounted safety bracket to the installation site, then hang the unit on. Guides keep it in place, leaving the installer with two hands free to connect the PoE cable and tighten the safety torx screw in the bottom of the unit. And for AXIS C1720 Network Display Speaker, whether you choose AXIS TC1604 Wall Mount or AXIS TC1605 Ceiling Mount accessories, you can count on a similar two-hands-free installation process.
