Founded a decade ago as an innovation platform, Infinite Area has evolved into an AI first ecosystem that helps companies adopt artificial intelligence strategically and develop tailored digital solutions. The heart of this ecosystem is the Infinite Area Hub in Montebelluna, Italy. This revitalized industrial warehouse has been transformed into a contemporary campus, complete with coworking spaces, event venues, and iconic environments. It's a place where design, technology, and human-centered innovation come together.
From on-site servers to cloud storage security
At the Infinite Area Hub, the aim was to eliminate on-site server storage and enable complete remote management. Addtionally, to leverage network cameras as smart sensors for occupancy and space utilization.
The goal was to build a next-generation, cloud-based video surveillance infrastructure that supports proactive protection, remote management, and seamless architectural integration.
“Video surveillance was created to protect places and people, but we also consider it a fundamental tool for monitoring attendance patterns and ensuring that resources intervene when and where action is required,” explains Patrizio Bof, President and founder of Infinite Group. “With Axis, we found a partner capable of guaranteeing long‑term continuity and building solutions in a ‘building block’ mode. This approach allows us to achieve lasting results and a more effective return on investment.”
The cloud-based video surveillance solution
Axis collaborated with Infinite Area to deploy a fully cloud-based solution that combines advanced analytics, operational agility, and aesthetic harmony within one of Italy’s most distinctive innovation hubs.
To meet Infinite Area’s requirements, Axis partnered with Eurotel, an Axis partner, to design a fully cloud‑based architecture powered by AXIS Camera Station Edge. This approach eliminates the need for on‑site servers, storing recordings directly on the cameras via high‑reliability SD cards and enabling complete remote management.

The installation was completed in just two weeks. The system includes a diverse mix of Axis network cameras tailored to the unique characteristics of each monitored area.
Network cameras for indoor spaces
- Dome cameras were installed for general interior coverage of the coworking spaces.
- Panoramic cameras were deployed in stairways and corridors at the office. These cameras offer 360° IR illumination and edge-based deep learning analytics.
Network cameras for outdoor and large areas
- To ensure perimeter protection of the garden area, several dual-sensor, multidirectional panoramic cameras were deployed. These cameras provide excellent image quality even in challenging lighting conditions.
- For parking areas and the sports field, a multidirectional panoramic camera with four channels (5 MP per channel at 20 fps) was installed. This camera provides a panoramic view that eliminates blind spots and can capture both wide-angle and zoomed-in, detailed views.
To ensure perfect aesthetic integration with the building’s refined architecture, all outdoor cameras were custom‑repainted using the customer’s RAL color specifications—making the devices nearly invisible within the environment.
Maximum scalability with remote management system
The solution features centralized, fully remote management, allowing for seamless control and monitoring from anywhere. With high-quality imaging, it enables accurate event reconstruction, providing clear and detailed visuals.
The system is designed for maximum scalability, making it easy to expand and adapt for future needs, all while leveraging advanced remote management capabilities.

Cloud-based surveillance for sustainable hotel
The scalability and flexibility of this security solution was quickly validated through its adoption in another Infinite Group initiative: The Castelletto, an eco‑sustainable boutique hotel located in Montebelluna’s historic center. The owners sought the same cloud‑based and on-site server free approach to preserve the elegance of the recently restored interiors.
Axis products and solutions now secure the hotel’s common areas, lobby, and surrounding garden —again without the need for local recording devices.
“Recognizing people, identifying those we already know, and sending personalized messages as they enter to create a ‘people‑friendly’ environment is our next challenge,” adds Bof.

The success of both deployments has opened the door to a new phase: a complete modernization of the video surveillance system at Infinite Area’s headquarters.
