Synology Surveillance Station, an integrated video management system, offers extensive support for Axis cameras, door controllers, I/O modules, and network speakers through native integration, ONVIF, and standard streaming protocols. The platform provides centralized management, enabling control of thousands of Axis devices across multiple sites. 

The platform supports sophisticated event-linking, enabling Axis sensors and I/O modules to trigger automated actions, such as broadcasting alerts through Axis speakers or locking doors.  Furthermore, Synology AI appliance offers analytics—such as LPR, facial recognition, people/vehicle counting, and intrusion detection—can process video streams from Axis cameras to generate instant alerts and provide actionable intelligence.
