Dynamic intercom authentication by squareTec

Q‑PIN enhances Axis intercom security by replacing static PINs with time‑based dynamic codes generated in standard authenticator apps. Customers gain stronger access protection, eliminate physical credentials, and reduce administrative effort—without changing user habits or infrastructure.

How it works

The Q-PIN solution integrates directly with Axis intercoms, such as the AXIS A8207-VE. Instead of using static access codes or physical credentials, users generate a dynamic, time-based PIN from a standard authenticator application (like Google or Microsoft Authenticator). This Q-PIN is then entered into the Axis intercom. The intercom validates the dynamic PIN against the system, granting secure access and eliminating the need for traditional, less secure static codes or costly physical ID cards.
