How it works

Sound Intelligence analytics software runs directly on Axis cameras and devices, using their (built-in) microphones to listen for specific sound patterns in real-time. By embedding the application in the camera, the AI analyzes sounds at the edge without recording or streaming audio, ensuring privacy. When a critical sound is detected, such as aggression, a gunshot, a car alarm, or a medical alarm, the software instantly triggers an alert. This event can be sent to a VMS, a mobile device, or a control room, often with accompanying live video from the camera for immediate verification and situational awareness.
