How it works

CompleteView connects to and records Axis cameras using industry-standard ONVIF protocols, giving users full access to the camera's capabilities, including all ACAP applications. Because CompleteView uses ONVIF rather than custom drivers, newly released Axis models work immediately without waiting for driver development. Newly installed apps are automatically detected and enabled for event use, and firmware updates that introduce new features are supported without any additional configuration. CompleteView also leverages metadata from Axis cameras that support ONVIF Profile M, powering Enhanced Search, a feature that lets users search for people or vehicles by color attributes.
