How it works

QNAP's QVR suite integrates seamlessly with Axis cameras by leveraging standard IP video protocols and Axis AI providing a centralized event hub. The QVR video management software runs on a QNAP NAS, which connects to and records video from Axis cameras across the network. Depending on the solution—from QVR Surveillance for single site and utilize QVR Center for enterprise-scale deployments—the platform can manage from a few to over 20,000 cameras. The suite also includes AI capabilities like QVR Face for facial recognition and QVR Human for people counting for entry level cameras without AI capability via processing video from Axis cameras to enable smart access control and business analytics.
