Edge vehicle recognition by Neural Labs

Neural Edge is a powerful video analytics application (ACAP) that runs directly on-board Axis network cameras. By leveraging the camera's internal processor, it analyzes the video feed at the edge to perform advanced vehicle recognition without requiring external servers. Depending on the camera's processing power (e.g., 1GB or 2GB models), Neural Edge can recognize license plates, speed, direction, and even identify a vehicle's make, model, class, and color. This data is then available for real-time alerts and integration with broader traffic management or security systems.
