Edge-based video analytics by Magenta

We are an engineering company specialized in providing software solution based on video analytics at the edge. We have dealt with tens of use cases in railway, smart city, and airport sectors, applying ACAP and VAPIX based solutions.

How it works

We have two main ways of integrating Axis products:

  • ACAP applications. We have a reusable application framework that has been used for applications like car counting, debris monitoring on river and rock fall detection on railway.
  • Edge-based VAPIX. We design and implement bespoke application running on edge devices such as Nvidia Jetson or Airqino Uno Q to provide solutions using AI models such as CNN or zero-shot models.

About Magenta

Founded in 2007, Magenta is a premier computer engineering company based in Florence, Italy, specializing in high-level software design and development services for both public and private organizations. As a proud Axis Technology Integration Partner, Magenta leverages its highly specialized technical staff of 18 engineers and computer scientists—including two PhDs—alongside strong academic ties to the DINFO department of the University of Florence.
