The integration of IncoreSoft analytics with Axis cameras operates through a streamlined process that leverages powerful edge computing. First, the specific analytics application is downloaded and installed directly onto compatible Axis cameras equipped with Artpec-8 or Artpec-9 chipsets and at least 2 GB of RAM. This setup allows the AI to process video data locally on the camera itself. Once installed, the system is configured by pointing the camera's output toward a centralized server and defining specific areas of interest for monitoring. Finally, the system captures metadata and high-quality images which are then transmitted to the VEZHA platform or seamlessly integrated into various third-party management systems, such as VMS or BMS, for real-time action and analysis.
