AI facial recognition by CyberLink

FaceMe® Security is an AI facial recognition system developed by CyberLink. This third-party software is designed to manage access control and surveillance by providing identity verification and real-time alerts to help organizations manage restricted areas.

How it works

CyberLink's FaceMe® Security solution is compatible with Axis network cameras and can be integrated with AXIS Camera Station using the AXIS Camera Application Platform (ACAP). FaceMe® processes video streams from Axis cameras to perform facial analysis. According to CyberLink, their engine is benchmarked by NIST with a 99.83% True Acceptance Rate and can be used for identity verification and access control when running on a customer's infrastructure.

CyberLink’s software is designed to perform identity verification. When used with ARTPEC-8 and ARTPEC-9 based cameras via ACAP, the FaceMe® application utilizes available edge computing resources to process its analytics.

By utilizing the VAPIX® API, FaceMe® Security can trigger actions in external systems, such as opening doors for individuals identified by the CyberLink system.
