ANPR and vehicle recognition by Adaptative Recognition

Carmen® Video Application for Axis adds ANPR and MMR to supported Axis cameras, helping operators identify license plates, vehicle make, model, category, and color for traffic, parking, tolling, access control, and security applications.

How it works

Carmen® Video Application for Axis runs on supported Axis network cameras and adds Carmen® ANPR and MMR capabilities to the camera environment. The application processes video to detect license plates and vehicle attributes such as make, model, category, and color. Depending on project needs, recognition can be handled through Carmen® Cloud or through on-device/on-site processing. The result is structured vehicle data that can support traffic monitoring, parking management, tolling, access control, and security workflows.
