Export Compliance Coordinator (Part Time)

Axis Communications is looking for an Export Compliance Coordinator to help support the Export Compliance Team within our Finance and Operations Organization in the Americas Region.  In this role you will play a vital role assisting with the overall execution and administration of Axis' Trade Compliance Program based on established program activities, government/legal requirements, and ongoing proactive project plans. This is a part-time position 4 hours a day, with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule.

What You’ll do here

• Daily oversight and management of Axis Americas export compliance mailbox.  Respond to all inquiries in timely manner and help facilitate support for internal and external requests.
• Conduct 1st level daily restricted/denied party screening through Axis’ RPS tool.  Thoroughly document findings to support decisions in log files.  Train and assist other functional teams with resolving potential matches, and update SOPs with new/updated process changes.
• Daily IFS Lobby review of export activities and potential for missing documentation/data elements.  Coordinate with Lund to resolve.
• Pull weekly export reports from IFS, forward copy of each report to CLC’s for coordination and review.

• Review and approval of international shipment requests for exports out of all US offices and AEC’s. Assist Team determining appropriate export and import codes for all outgoing Axis employee/office exports.
• Review and approval of End User Statement documents for mandatory requirements and accuracy.  Coordinate with Order Management, Project Pricing and Technical Services teams. Document findings and communicate to staff through Salesforce CRM platform.
• Assist Team with all internal and external audits. 
• Responsible for updates to new employee onboarding and other trade compliance training courses via Axis’ LMS platform.  Monitoring employee completion in Workday platform.

Essential Skills

• Solidly proficient in computer skills, including full MS suite, Salesforce and ERP systems
• Strong time management, organizational skills and high attention to detail

Education and Experience

·       3-5 years business operations, customer service, or general compliance programs knowledge

Pay range:

The approximate pay range for this location and position is $26-$28/hourly. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as physical work location.
