1. Introduction
An introduction to how this eLearning will take the participant through the system administrator’s tasks when configuring user roles and managing Axis devices.

2. Role settings and device management

• Configure role settings to control user privileges. 
• Install the site controller to make it possible for AXIS Device Manager Extend to communicate with local devices in a Milestone system.
• Claim the site controller and synchronize devices to be able to manage Axis devices in the Milestone system via AXIS Device Manager Extend.
• Use AXIS Device Manager Extend to configure devices and perform maintenance tasks on multiple devices and sites from a single user interface.
• Use AXIS Site Designer to import system design projects including settings and configurations into Milestone XProtect.
