IKARA integrates their AI-powered analytics platform with Axis cameras to capture and analyze every detail of actions happening in warehouses, restaurants, lounges, airports, delivery trucks, parking lots. Operators can instantly review movement patterns, dwell times, overcrowded spaces, order times, traffic density, and progress over time.
The system automatically highlights what was agreed upon – customer specific dashboards are part of the product suite. So it can deliver KPIs as speed/duration and accuracy, and provides actionable feedback to enhance training effectiveness - all in real time and from any device. Objective for later time is that IKARA delivers small/distilled models to run on Axis cameras.
Please note that this is a third-party solution; it is neither provided nor endorsed by Axis, which fully disclaims any responsibility for it.
IKARA was founded in 2018 as a spin-off of DFKI (German Research-Institute for AI) by a team of former researchers and computer vision enthusiasts, it has developed and implemented a wide range of solutions in computer vision. They are productive now in far more than 1,000 locations. They help customers like fast food chains, freight forwarders, retailers, lounge operators, airlines around the world to measure what they are doing, to locate what they are looking for, to check what is of interest to accelerate their doing and automate, where it is hard to find people to do the work. It delivers actionable insights.
The biggest common project combining Axis cameras with IKARA AI analytics was the DHL freight hub in Brussels/Belgium with a PoC of some 50 AXIS cameras planned to scale-up until 1,800 cams in total.
