This hemispherical microphone captures clear, high-quality sound from every direction. Even in small rooms with low noise levels, it can be positioned close to the sound source, and you can be confident of recording high-quality audio without added noise, artifacts, or distortion. In addition, this IP65-rated outdoor-ready device has an operating temperature range from -20 °C to 60 °C (-4 °F to 140 °F).

Audio right where you need it

With a broad range of mounting accessories, this compact microphone can easily be mounted on walls, ceilings, or poles, and it supports recessed mounting. It can act as a visible deterrent, or it can be discreetly mounted in covert areas, subtly concealed from view. This makes it perfect for surveillance situations where audio quality is crucial, such as police interrogation rooms and cash-handling desks. It’s compatible with any network products that support a 3.5 mm microphone input jack, or a 4-pin audio connector. And because it’s powered by the device it’s connected to, there’s no additional cables or power supplies needed.

Everything’s in the box

AXIS T8351 Mk II comes with everything needed to support various, flexible installations. A plastic cover protects the microphone. And it can be repainted to help the microphone blend into different environments. There’s also a cage to protect the microphone when it’s used in discreet recessed installations in walls or ceilings. A mounting template ensures accurate and hassle-free installation. And if you don’t want to drill the surface, there’s also an adhesive sticker which can be attached to the mounting surface. What’s more, there’s four cable holder accessories to ensure easy cable management.
