AXIS Camera Station Integrator Suite (Building End-to-End Solutions)

Creating value for customers starts by helping them understand how their surveillance systems can work for them. This is made easier with AXIS Camera Station Integrator Suite, an all-in-one solution that allows for simple system design, installation, configuration and maintenance. As products and systems become more complex, it’s become increasingly important to improve simplicity and user-friendliness during installation and management.

You will learn a wide variety of video surveillance, such as:

  • Designing & configuring site solutions using AXIS Site Designer
  • Testing deployed solutions using AXIS Installation Verifier
  • Tailoring AXIS Camera Station for a customer’s specific needs by creating action rules, integrating other features and configuring remote access
  • Using AXIS Camera Station Integrator Suite to manage systems

Who should attend?
This course is suitable for professionals who will sell, support, install, configure and manage a complete mid-size solution built from Axis products. You’ll learn how to construct an effective mid-size system with AXIS Camera Station Integrator Suite to build business and increase monthly revenue.

Prerequisites: before attending the in-class session, you will receive an online learning module for completion on AXIS Camera Station.

Designing Network Video Solutions

This course covers many important aspects of designing a network video surveillance system. Topics such as surveillance goals, camera placement, video analytics, network performance and storage solutions are discussed. All theory presented is put into practice in a comprehensive lab session.

You will learn a wide variety of video surveillance, such as:

  • Understand the cornerstones of a network video system
  • Understand how product selection and camera placement effect the usability of a system
  • Be able to make decisions on products, placement and storage solutions based on customer needs
  • Be able to use AXIS Site Designer to facilitate the design process

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for professionals working with network video design.

Prerequisites: In order to get the most out of the training, it is strongly recommended that students to first complete the Axis Network Video Fundamentals course.

Essentials of Axis Network Audio Systems

In this course, you’ll learn how to spec and design a complete network audio system by exploring the fundamentals for applications, such as security call-outs, event-triggered announcements, paging, background music and more. You’ll also gain valuable hands-on experience with Axis network audio products.

You will leave the classroom confident in:

  • Identifying the primary purposes and common application of network audio
  • Assessing space layout and acoustics to plan an appropriate network audio solution
  • Describing concepts, such as sound pressure, decibels, pitch, sampling frequency and bit depth
  • Demonstrating set up, usage and management of Axis network speakers, AXIS C8033 Network Audio Bridge and Axis audio management software.

Professionals who will support, install, configure, sell or manage a complete solution built from Axis products.

Network Video Fundamentals

Network Video Fundamentals (NVF) is a comprehensive course that covers the essentials of network video solutions. The latest evolution of NVF is blended learning, which combines online learning with classroom training. Attendees will have the opportunity to complete the online portion of the class at their own pace and spend more time with our technologies and solutions in a classroom setting.

You will learn a wide variety of video surveillance, such as:

  • Camera technology and setup
  • Image usability, video analytics
  • Selecting the appropriate camera type and placement
  • Ways to save bandwidth and storage
  • Intelligent applications

Course breakdown

  • Part 1 of the course takes place online
    • eLearning modules: Industry & Standards, How a Camera Sees, What a Camera Sees, The Cost of Bitrate, The Connected Camera, System Design & Installation, Troubleshooting, The Power of Integration
  • Part 2 is a two-day classroom experience
    • 20% instructor presentations and 80% hands-on exercises.
  • Part 3 Become an Axis Certified Professional (optional)

This course is suitable for professionals working with system integration and network video design who want to gain a greater understanding of network video best practices, integration, resource management and more.

Prerequisites: before attending the in-class session, you will receive e-learning modules on Network Video Fundamentals that will need to be completed before the start of the class.
