Blimp reads video streams from Axis cameras and processes them locally on a dedicated edge mainboard using advanced computer vision algorithms. Depending on the application, it provides detailed analytics including footfall, visitor direction, heatmaps, dwell time, queue length, occupancy, people passing outside shop windows, advertising attention, etc. In urban environments, it can count vehicles, classify vehicle types, detect bicycles, monitor parking occupancy and analyze movement patterns. The Blimp platform consolidates data across locations and provides tailored dashboards for stores, shopping malls, airports, advertising networks and smart city projects. Customers can visualize trends on a cloud dashboard, compare locations and periods, and export data through APIs, reports and Excel for integration with their business systems.
