Axis is home to one of Sweden’s largest R&D departments, and since 2024 we have expanded the department with an office in Kungsholmen, Stockholm, focusing on ASIC design, hardware product design, quality assurance, and software development.

The Stockholm office is still quite new. What are the plans for the future?

The Stockholm R&D hub will be home to several key engineering competencies and product areas, such as ASIC design, hardware product design, QA, and software development. We see Stockholm as an important long-term investment into our growing future, and plan to grow into an office with around 100 colleagues within a couple of years. From there we hope to grow in size to allow us to further expand.

Learning is absolutely at the core of our culture at Axis. We heavily invest in personal and professional development, with formal learning programs, training, and internal events like brown-bag lectures and tech talks, where employees can share knowledge or learn from external experts.
