Access extended features in AXIS Optimizer for XProtect

This course covers how to set up and use operator controls to access an Axis camera’s specific features directly from Smart Client, and how this makes it easy to perform tasks such as managing dewarped video, setting the focus area for PTZ cameras, measuring spot temperatures, or turning on wiper and dry speed.

After completing the course, participants should:

be familiar with:

  • how to set up and use operator controls in AXIS Optimizer for XProtect®
  • how to automatically set camera focus control, set focus for PTZ cameras, and dry multiple cameras
  • how to enable operators to turn on/off wipers, speed dry, camera heater, IR, WDR, and electronic image stabilization, and how to measure spot temperatures
