In this course you will learn how thermal imaging camera and radar technologies can be used as best practices for perimeter protection, as well as what to consider when planning a surveillance system. We will also compare the different detection technologies : Visual cameras, thermal cameras and radar systems for perimeter and area protection. We will conclude with the topic of video analytics, specifically how AXIS Perimeter Defender can help to automatically classify and detect moving people and vehicles.
