These affordable and compact varifocal cameras are available as both outdoor and indoor models. They deliver great image quality in up to 8 MP even in challenging light. Featuring a varifocal lens with remote zoom and focus capabilities, they can be adapted for close-ups and overviews without the need for hands-on fine tuning. The series includes models with OptimizedIR for surveillance in pitch darkness. And Lightfinder for sharp, color images even in low light. These cameras can be discreetly installed to blend in with any environment. Plus, with a wide range of accessories, they can be mounted just about anywhere.
Extended possibilities
Featuring a deep learning processing unit, AXIS M42 Series include advanced analytics based on deep learning on the edge. They come preinstalled with AXIS Object Analytics to detect, classify, track, and count objects such as humans and vehicles. These high-performance cameras also allow you to collect and analyze valuable metadata—on the edge—for real-time events, forensic search, and statistical purposes. The outdoor models include AXIS Audio Analytics, which can detect and classify specific sounds as well as sudden changes in sound volume. Furthermore, Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, safeguards the device and protects sensitive information from unauthorized access.
