What are the different departments in Lund?

Our campus in Lund is home to one of Sweden’s largest R&D departments, with around 2,500 engineers, alongside our R&D sites in Linköping and Stockholm. Our R&D team drives innovation, ensuring Axis stays at the cutting edge of technology. We reinvest about 18% of our revenue annually into R&D, showing our dedication to innovation and continuous growth. Axis is a leader in innovation, ranked among the top companies in Sweden for patent applications. Since registering our first patent in the 1990s, Axis has secured patents for around 2,600 inventions worldwide.

Our operations team of over 500 people manages the global supply chain, ensuring smooth delivery from product development to shipping. The global sales and marketing team in Lund collaborates with regional teams worldwide to strengthen partner and customer relationships and promote our products and solutions. Our HR team focuses on recruitment, learning and development, and fostering our company culture globally. The Facilities team oversees all our properties, creating a positive work environment by ensuring safety, managing conference spaces, providing food and beverage services, and other essential facility operations. The Axis headquarters campus consists of several buildings that are designed to foster connection and creativity. At the heart of the campus is the 10-story HQ building, called Grenden, which features a large auditorium for gatherings, spacious fika and dining areas, dynamic meeting rooms, and office spaces. It also houses an Axis Experience Center and a sky lounge for events and meetings. The spaces in the buildings are crafted to encourage collaboration, whether through informal “fika” chats, formal meetings, or after-hours activities. With facilities like a gym, pickleball court, and a fitness area as well, we ensure employees have plenty of opportunities to relax, recharge, and connect with colleagues.
