Protecting public sector enterprises with innovative solutions from Axis Communications
SCOPE Minar, a leading Public Sector Enterprise, chooses Axis network cameras for optimal security
“By using the advanced possibilities of the Axis surveillance solution, the SCOPE organization got the dual advantage of the best quality product and value for the investment. With this high-tech solution, the organization has seen the initial benefits with reduced response time and substantial reduction of maintenance costs.” SCOPE maintenance management organization.
Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), the apex body of public sector enterprises (PSEs) is one of India’s most prominent organizations that specializes in building and facility management and creates a channel of communication between the government and its member organizations. The key challenge they faced was having to handle too many traditional analog cameras, which was utilizing high manpower to monitor the towers and its surrounding perimeter. SCOPE needed an efficient surveillance system to cover the 11,144 square foot facility with 45 offices which has an average footfall of 5000 visitors and employees daily. Senior management therefore decided to revolutionize their security with a high-tech solution to protect the premises from unauthorized access and safeguard valuable assets including that of banks, offices, and a data center present in the premises.
Protecting SCOPE Minar demanded an integrated and smart surveillance system that could be set up within a limited budget, make optimum utilization of bandwidth and improve resource management. It was also pertinent to cut out any threats and criminal activities. With an Axis network video solution, real-time monitoring, and the ability to take proactive steps in fighting miscreants and crime could be addressed. MK Infosystems designed a comprehensive solution that included IP cameras capable of delivering high-quality images even in darkness with extensive zoom and active tampering alarms. The post-deployment solution now produces higher image clarity and high-definition streaming options even in challenging light conditions.
It is easier for management to keep an eye on every activity within the premises and monitor efficiently. Installing the cameras has addressed the main security issues. The network recording, archiving and storage of video footage has resulted in quicker response time and reduction of blind spots. Similarly, dependence on manual intervention, efficient detection of incidents while reducing costs, and complete control are the other benefits achieved.
