The thumb-sized AXIS FA1105 Sensor Unit is ideal for discreet indoor surveillance applications in stores, banks and airports, and when integrated in machines. The sensor unit’s small size means you can install it in tight places or mount it discreetly at eye level to better capture people’s faces. When flush-mounted in a wall, ceiling or metal panel, only a small hole for the lens is visible.
Highly discreet installation
For use with the separately sold AXIS FA54 Main Unit, AXIS FA1105 provides a 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) and a 111º horizontal field of view for wide area coverage.
AXIS FA1105 supports Forensic WDR at all times, enabling details to be visible even in high-contrast lighting conditions, such as in a backlight scenario where you have a person standing in front of a very bright background. The sensor unit, together with the main unit, prioritizes the darker areas of such a scene, enabling colors and details to be clearly visible. The WDR technology in AXIS FA Series is also optimized for motion, so there is no motion artifact when a fast-moving object passes by. In low light scenes, AXIS FA1105 delivers excellent color video with low noise.

Flexible modular concept
AXIS FA1105 is part of the AXIS FA Series, which is based on a divided network camera concept, where the camera is split into a sensor unit (made up of a lens and image sensor) and a main unit (the body of a camera) and are connected via a cable. The flexible design allows the small sensor unit to be installed where needed and the main unit to be placed where there is space.
AXIS FA1105 comes with an 8-m (26 ft) detachable cable for connection to an AXIS FA54 Main Unit. An optional 15-m (49 ft) long cable is also available. AXIS FA1105 also comes with a mounting bracket and locking nuts for easy installation on a glass, plastic or metal panel.
