About Santiago Guaqueta

Santiago brings over 6 years industry experience to the Axis professional services team. In his role, he services as a subject matter expert on Axis’ analytics portfolio and advises system integration and technology partners on best practices for the successful implementation of these solutions. He is also responsible for researching and recommending complementary technologies to meet specific project requirements. Mr. Guaqueta joined Axis in 2016 as part of the acquisition of Cognimatics, where he became the first US based employee in 2014 after spending two years working at the company’s headquarters in Lund, Sweden as a sales engineer. He also held the position of technical consultant at ATEA, another Nordic IT infrastructure company. During his career, Santiago has earned several certifications within the IT industry including ITIL v3 Foundation and Microsoft desktop and server infrastructures. He is also an Axis Certified Professional (ACP). In addition, he holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business with a minor degree in Computer Information Management from Northwood University.
