Windows Vista statement

Most of Axis software applications have Windows Vista support. Below you will find detailed information regarding each application.

AXIS Media Control is the ActiveX component used in Internet Explorer. This component is included in the AXIS product firmware but can also be downloaded from the Axis web site and run as an .msi file.

The installation program, the control panel applet and the decoders have been modified for Windows Vista. Windows Vista is supported by AXIS Media Control from version 4.1.5.3.

Windows Vista is supported by AXIS Camera Station from version 2.11.008.

Windows Vista is supported by AXIS Camera Management from version 2.00.031.

Windows Vista is supported by AXIS IP Utility from version 2.21.0.4.

No Windows Vista support is planned for Axis applications that are not listed here, e.g. AXIS CamControl and AXIS Camera Explorer.
