How can I stop AXIS Device Manager Extend from broadcasting via Bonjour and SSDP to discover new AXIS devices on my network?

AXIS Device Manager Extend uses Bonjour (port 5353) and SSDP (port 1900) protocols to discover devices on the network.

If you would prefer to only discover devices manually, the automated discovery can be disable in the AXIS device Manager Extend client.

Select the desired SIte Controller in the AXIS Device Manager Extend client, go into settings (bottom left) and scroll down to "Device discovery options" and disable "Active device discovery".
