Why is it not possible to downgrade firmware on my new AXIS Q6315-LE camera?
Support for new hardware has been added in available active track releases since 10.9.0
Q6315-LEs with the new hardware will have a new part number (ending with xxxxx-xxx-03) and a new HWID (HardwareID). These units can't be downgraded to a firmware that is older than the active track release 10.9.0 since they do not have support for this new hardware.
Products using the old hardware (part number that ends with xxxxx-xxx-01 or -02), see old HWID below, will still be able to downgrade to earlier releases of firmware.
Here is the list of affected products and the HWID for new and old units:

You can check the "HardwareID" on your product in the server report and the part number on the bottom of your camera.
