Social responsibility

Social responsibility is a key part of Axis’ sustainability work. As market leader, we have the opportunity to influence many people’s lives positively. We aim to use this position responsibly, and to consider the long-term impact of our operations on employees, shareholders, customers, suppliers and other important stakeholders.

Taking long-term social responsibility

Our company’s continued success and growth can be attributed, in part, to our strong company culture. We commit considerable time, money and effort to creating a good working environment for our employees, and we work actively with our core values, which are as relevant today as when they were first formulated. By so doing, we promote cooperation, encourage visionary, innovative thinking and stimulate Axis’ future growth.

Transparency and diversity

A natural part of Axis’ corporate culture is to offer all employees the same opportunity to excel — regardless of race, gender, cultural background or other differentiating factors.

Axis Code of Conduct

Drawing on several well-established sources*, our Code of Conduct defines how we expect employees to behave in their professional roles, and in relation to Axis’ partners and other stakeholders. It provides guidelines on how to handle issues relating to human rights, workplace rights, the environment and corruption.

*The UN’s Global Compact framework for business ethics (which Axis signed in 2007), The UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, The International Labor Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.
