Upgrade instructions
====================

NOTE: Upgrade from 1.81.040 directly to 1.94.2 is not possible. Customers are advised to upgrade from 1.81.40 to 1.85.060 to 1.94.2

Upgrade the firmware according to the instructions given at
https://www.axis.com/ca/en/support/tecnical-notes/how-to-upgrade
or howtoupgrade.txt, which is included in the firmware folder.



New features in 1.94.2
===========================================================================

1.94.2:F1
All speakers and audio system devices can now be integrated with Syn-Apps Revolution Mass Communication Platform. A separate ACAP is required.


1.94.2:F2
Added support for mediaclip.cgi and transmit.cgi in the Axis On-screen control API.
This enables speakers and audio system devices to be easily integrated with Video Management systems that have implemented the On-screen control API for camera control.
The same API can be used to activate media clips and transmit audio to the speakers.



Corrections in 1.94.2

1.94.2:C1
In SIP accounts, the Status column does now display the actual status of the account�s connection. If OK it shows Green �OK�, if disabled Grey �SIP disabled�.


1.94.2:C2
Fixed incorrect handling of repeat param so that correct audio clip is repeated when repeat parameter is set.


1.94.2:C3
Axis Audio Player has been updated so that scheduled announcements starts playing at exact given time in the following format hh:mm:sec.
