UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS
====================

The firmware can be upgraded using Axis Camera Management, HTTP or FTP.
Please follow the instructions from the user's manual, the web page at
http://www.axis.com/techsup/cam_servers/how_to_upgrade.htm or the file named 
howtoupgrade.txt.


Corrections in 5.40.9 since 5.40.4
==================================

5.40.9:C01  Modifier #t for event notification works as expected.

5.40.9:C02  GOV length 1 in combination with enabled User Data does not give 
            black image anymore.

5.40.9:C03  Custom schedules work as expected.

5.40.9:C04  Motion JPEG stream is no longer corrupted when rotated 90 and 270 degrees.

5.40.9:C05  Special characters in e-mail subject are now represented correctly.

5.40.9:C06  Frame size limit of Motion JPEG when saving to network drive works.

5.40.9:C07  HTTP port does not need to be specified when running RTP over 
            RTSP over HTTP.

5.40.9:C08  Ethernet driver has been improved.

5.40.9:C09  Default viewer set to still image does not affect configuration pages 
            where stream appearance is expected.

5.40.9:C10  HTTP notification in an action rule gives a valid URI.

5.40.9:C11  Setting parameter Network.DefaultRouter to a new value takes effect
            even if the product is not restarted.

5.40.9:C12 Guard Tour runs without stopping after a few hours.


Known Bugs/Limitations
======================

5.40.4:L01  When using action rule resulting in short recordings it is recommended
            to extend post-event time.

5.40.4:L02  With audio enabled, the initial connection latency is increased.

5.40.4:L03 Color parameter when pulling RTSP stream with color=0 doesn't have effect
