Axis Communications announces two mini dome cameras designed to deliver great images even in challenging light. Featuring a deep learning processing unit (DLPU), these cameras let you take advantage of intelligent applications based on deep learning on the edge. They come pre-installed with AXIS Object Analytics enabling reliable detection with fewer false alarms.

AXIS M4216-LV and AXIS M4216-V deliver great image quality with forensic details in 4 MP and feature a varifocal lens with remote zoom and focus capabilities. Thanks to Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), they ensure clarity even when there’s both dark and light areas in the scene. Additionally, AXIS M4216-LV features Axis OptimizedIR for exceptional clarity and sharpness even in pitch darkness. Designed to blend seamlessly into any environment, these compact cameras offer a wide range of accessories for discreet monitoring.

These cost-effective mini domes offer great possibilities to add value to and extend the functionality of your surveillance system. They feature an HDMI port and offer the flexibility to add audio and I/O connectivity using AXIS T61 Audio and I/O Interface. Furthermore, they offer built-in cybersecurity features such as Axis Edge Vault which protects the Axis device ID and simplifies authorization of Axis devices on the network.

AXIS M4216-V/-LV will be available through Axis distribution channels in Q4 2021.
