Axis Communications announces new additions to the AXIS P32 Network Camera Series

September 4, 2019
Axis expands fixed dome camera series for surveillance in a wide range of settings, including retails stores, education and healthcare facilities.

The two new P32 Series cameras, AXIS P3245-LV and AXIS P3245-LVE are available as both indoor and outdoor models and offer outstanding image quality in 1080p. Equipped with Axis’ newest chipset, the fixed dome cameras feature Axis Lightfinder 2.0, OptimizedIR and Axis Forensic WDR for true colors and great details in scenes with challenging light up to complete darkness. With a varifocal lens and remote zoom and focus capabilities, the camera view can be adjusted for close-up and overview without the need for hands-on fine tuning. Additionally, they offer two-way audio and I/O connectivity so it’s easy to integrate other equipment. With Axis Zipstream technology and support for H.264/H.265, bandwidth and storage requirements are significantly reduced.

The new additions to the AXIS P32 Series feature a vandal-resistant IK10-rated casing.  AXIS P3245-V and AXIS P3245-LV Network Cameras also benefit from no visible screws with a snap-on casing that can easily be re-painted in any color to blend in with specific surroundings. Enhanced security features, such as signed firmware and secure boot, guarantee that only authorized, unaltered firmware is installed and, if necessary, that the camera is completely free of malware after a factory default.

Key features include:

  • Lightfinder 2.0 and Forensic WDR
  • Signed firmware and secure boot
  • Axis Zipstream technology with H.265 and H.264
  • Enhanced capacity for analytics
  • Models with OptimizedIR, two-way audio, I/O connectivity

The cameras will be available through Axis’ standard distribution channels in Q4 2019.
