Axis Americas gives back to local communities on the company’s inaugural volunteer day

Teams of Axis employees across the Americas volunteer in their local communities for inaugural Axis Community Day

Axis Community Day is a dedicated day of volunteering for Axis employees in Canada, the US and Latin America.

Each year Axis Communications provides its full-time employees in the Americas with a floating day to use for volunteerism. In 2022, the company announced that it would combine efforts through a united day of giving: Axis Community Day. Accordingly, on Friday, September 23, employees across two continents joined together to give back to their communities—donating over 3,300 hours of time to deserving organizations and meaningful causes.

Axis employees assembled at charitable organizations to work side-by-side in support of worthy causes including family services, food access, environmental sustainability, and animal welfare. They sorted food and clothing donations, cleaned up neighborhoods and parks, contributed to reforestation efforts, cared for shelter animals and much more.

Social responsibility is a cornerstone of Axis’ commitment to building a smarter, safer world and Axis Community Day is an important opportunity to give back as an organization. By dedicating a day to serving together, Axis and its employees are able to make a greater impact on their surrounding communities and hope to inspire others to make a difference in their community.

Axis employees spent the day supporting the following organizations:

  • Alcaldía Benito Juárez (Mexico City, Mexico)
  • Atlanta Community Food Bank (Atlanta, Georgia)
