Depth of field

If the outside scene is sunny, the iris opening can be reduced, partly improving the depth of field.

However, zooming in on an object will greatly limit the surveillance opportunities in the surrounding areas.

When zooming in on an object, the depth of field is often greatly reduced. If at the same time the iris is fully open because light is limited, the depth of field is reduced further.
