Greater sustainability through green design

For us, green design is going beyond using recycled materials and phasing out hazardous substances. By designing green we strive to minimize the environmental impact while meeting quality and functionality requirements.

Focusing on the entire lifecycle

The circular economy is all about designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems. This is why we think circular economy is the necessary next step.

Choosing the right materials

Our goal is to always select the best materials in product development. We aim to stay one step ahead of the legal requirements regarding substance control. We ensure that none of our products contain conflict minerals.

Towards eco-friendly transports

Axis ships goods by sea and road where we can, and we carbon offset for all courier freight by air in accordance with the independent international standard the Carbon Neutral Protocol.

Protecting endangered species

Rhinos have almost become extinct as poachers kill them for their horns. Axis has donated a solar powered protection system at the Rhino Pride Foundation Sanctuary in Limpopo, South Africa. Now they can live in a natural, yet secure, habitat.
