At the Axis Partner Day in Munich, Germany, on October 16 2019, partners from the Axis network participated in a charity campaign to support charitable projects.

Social responsibility is an integral part of the corporate philosophy that Axis adopts and the company follows a high ethical standard, to achieve a long-term beneficial impact on its own employees, shareholders, suppliers, customers, the public and partners. As an important part of its efforts, Axis supports charitable causes, projects, and organizations – at local and global levels.

One of these charitable initiatives took place during the Axis Partners Day in Munich, Germany. Partners from the Axis network had the chance to compete in various casino games, such as Blackjack or roulette, and donate their winnings to a good cause. Bechtle logistics & Service GmbH won the most at € 2,000, followed by the vi2vi group (€ 1,500) and the Eastek Systems GmbH (1.000 €). The winners donated the earnings to charitable projects they chose ahead of the event.

Edwin Roobol, Regional Director Middle Europe, explains: “This is just one example of how important it is for Axis to take practical steps towards social responsibility. And, if we involve our partner network, the impact gets so much greater.”

Axis contributes to creating a better and safer world beyond products and solutions. The company also promotes projects in the field of education aimed at children and teenagers. Axis believes that companies, regardless of the industry they operate in, are responsible for the environmental and social impact of their business. For this reason, Axis Communications supports the sustainability goals of the UN and has signed the UN Global Compact, encouraging the integration of these important elements in its corporate culture.
