Devices are placed on active, long-term support (LTS), or product-specific support (PSS) tracks. In the active track, we continue to add features, improve cybersecurity with new features and patches, and fix bugs while maintaining the stability. In LTS and PSS tracks, we do not introduce new features. Instead, the focus is on maintaining the consistency of APIs, adding security patches, and fixing bugs. Each product follows its own PSS track and therefore, unlike LTS, we may introduce some product-specific features in PSS track. We recommend to chose the active track unless there are irresolvable limitations or dependencies.
