- IP66-rated
- Robust design with IK10-rated
- Ease of installation
- Indoor use
Features to protect what you value

AXIS T96A05-V Dome Housings, designed for AXIS M50 Series, have IP66 protection rating against the ingress of dust and high pressure water jets from any direction. The IP66 classification makes it usable in semi outdoor environments, such as under ceilings at airports and other semi outdoors places.
Moreover, the IK10 rating is for protection against impact and vandal acts. AXIS T96A05-V finds its best applications in those installations where AXIS M50 cameras are already installed on a hard ceiling, but need to be converted into vandal-resistant cameras.
Ease of installation
AXIS M50 Series includes a bracket which facilitates the installation of the camera inside the dome housing.
Pure protection for indoors

AXIS T96A05-V Dome Housings don’t provide any electronic components, yet offering the protection rating to defend AXIS M50 cameras in those indoor and semi outdoor environments where temperature management is not a demand, e.g. in subways or schools. The dome housings are designed for hard ceiling mount and they come with a selection of two colors: black and white.
The IP rating system
- IP stands for Ingress Protection
- The rating’s first digit e.g. IP66 relates to the ingress protection against dust (6 means dust tight, see the table below)
- The second digit e.g IP66 relates to the ingress protection against water (6 means protected against heavy water jets, see the table below)
