The Companion Specialist initiative has been designed to provide installers and resellers with competitive pricing as well as sales and marketing tools. It is designed to assist you, as an Axis Companion Specialist, in targeting privately owned small companies within retail and service industries. These companies have a basic need of video surveillance to secure people and assets, and we want to assist you in meeting this need.

Please note that:

  • All orders must be placed through an authorized Axis Communications distributor.
  • AXIS Companion IP-cameras and AXIS Companion recorders only work with AXIS Companion video management software and mobile app.
  • As an Axis Companion Specialist, you and all persons associated with you must comply with all applicable anti-corruption legislation, including the anti-bribery legislation of the states where you are active, the UK Bribery Act and the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
  • Axis reserves its right to amend these requirements at any time, which amendments will be communicated to you in writing (either by e-mail or regular post) and effective immediately upon notification. You will be responsible for reviewing and becoming familiar with any such amendments. If you do not agree with any amendments, you are requested to exercise your right to terminate your AXIS Companion Specialist status.
  • The AXIS Companion Specialist will not sell/advertise Axis products exclusively through the Worldwide Web.
  • AXIS Companion Specialists may not appoint sub-Partners or engage in wholesale activity but will sell directly to end customers only. 

Please also note that Axis’ liability is limited as per below and that Axis may use and process your personal data as per below:

  • Under no circumstances will Axis be liable for any special, indirect, incidental, exemplary or consequential damages of any kind or nature whatsoever, whether based on contract, warranty, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising out of or in any way related to your participation in the initiative, even if advised on the possibility of such damage or if such damage could have been reasonably foreseen, and notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any exclusive remedy provided. Such limitation of damages includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of goodwill, loss of profit, revenue or production, interest on investments, cost of capital, loss of data or software, costs of procurement of substitute products, equipment or services, downtime costs, claims of customers, work stoppage, computer failure or malfunction or impairment of other goods. If, notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, Axis is found to be liable to you for any damage or loss that arises out of or is related to your participation in the initiative, Axis’ entire liability under this initiative shall be limited to one thousand (1000) USD.
  • Under this initiative, Axis may use, store, organize and otherwise process certain personal data relating to your employees, for the purpose of directing commercial messages and marketing relating to Axis products and services to the employee and for administering your participation in the initiative. Processing of personal data may include transfer of such data to other Axis’ affiliates or to third party companies worldwide, in which case such third party will be required to maintain the confidentiality of the personal data and be prohibited from using the data for any other purposes than providing services to Axis (including its affiliates).
  • Please note that personal data processed by Axis in accordance herewith will include only such information that you have submitted to Axis within the scope of this initiative, for example the employee’s name, title, position within your organization and the employee’s company phone number and email address. You hereby authorize Axis to process such personal data about your employees and undertake to ensure, if so required under applicable data protection legislation, that your employees have consented to such processing, including the transfer of data to Axis’ affiliates or third party companies worldwide. Further, any commercial messages sent by Axis to the employee’s company email will include a clear and conspicuous explanation of how the employee may opt out from getting further emails from Axis in the future.

Becoming an AXIS Companion Specialist
In order to receive the benefits as an AXIS Companion Specialist, the requirements outlined above must be met. Either party can terminate this relationship at any given time by giving written notice. Should any dispute arise between Axis and the AXIS Companion Specialist, such dispute shall be resolved by arbitration under the Rules of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, and the laws of Sweden shall apply. However, if your activities as an Axis Companion Specialist are primarily conducted in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Central America or the Caribbean, any dispute shall be resolved under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce, and the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, shall apply.

By checking the "I ACCEPT" checkbox, you are applying to become an AXIS Companion Specialist subject to the terms set out above.

This enrollment form shall be executed in the English language. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, in case of any conflict between the English version and the translated version of this enrollment, the English version shall prevail and shall be used in any interpretation of this enrollment form and any matters arising out of same.
