Searching for the best blog? Look no further!
I’m happy to share that this blog, Secure Insights, has been awarded ‘Best Use of Blogs’ by the Holmes Report in its IN2SABRE Awards.
So, why is that?
The blog is for buyers and users of security solutions, to help you learn the ins and outs of surveillance, getting insights to intelligent security solutions and show how it can help you gain business intelligence.
Although it is nice to be recognized by the industry, winning marketing awards isn’t the way in which we measure the success of our work. Ultimately the success of this blog is measured on whether it is bringing relevant content to you, the reader, and helping you find related material. Data backs this up: traffic to the blog grew more than 50% in 2018 over 2017, and now brings more than 11,000 visitors each month.
Axis has local presence around the world, and so find readers us from everywhere. The blog is published in Chinese, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese.
The content you’ll find here integrates across multiple channels (including newsletters, social media, blog, Newsroom, and landing pages across the Axis website) for maximum effect: the whole is most certainly more than the sum of the parts.
We established this blog in late-2016, and some of the top read content includes the Technology Trends blogpost (which finds its way into a number of media publications) and responding to key industry issues such as GDPR’s implications for video surveillance.
Creating and maintaining a blog takes a village. It’s a great team effort from many people at Axis as well as partners and experts in the industry.
Most importantly, this blog is your blog, too. It is meant to be a place for the entire Axis community to meet and exchange ideas. So please jump in and join the conversation! We’d love to hear your suggestions for topics you might like to see from our technical and business experts, or for you to consider developing blog posts that might be suitable to share here.
