Q: Do I have to register my product?
A:
No registration is needed to make the new 3-year warranty valid. Axis keeps track of the products that are covered by the new warranty through the serial number. The current product registration procedure can be found here: Register ownership.

Q: How can I confirm what warranty is valid for my products?
A:
Contact Axis support and present the serial number or document proving the date of purchase.

Q: What is the warranty for housings and Axis-branded accessories?
A:
It will continue to be 1 year.

Q: What does it mean that the warranty includes products sold after December 31, 2006?
A:
Even though the product doesn't have the correct warranty statement, the customer can claim the 3-year warranty if the product was purchased after December 31, 2006.

Q: Where do I turn if I have problems with my unit?
A:
Contact Online Helpdesk (registration required) on the Axis web site.

Q: Are there any exceptions for end users on the warranty?
A:
All end users are covered by the new warranty.

Q: I purchased products just before January 1st, 2007. Can my products be covered by the 3-year warranty?
A:
No, you will only have a 1-year warranty.

Q: Will new products have a 1- or 3-year warranty?
A:
It depends on the product. Please check here.

Q: What is the warranty for the power supply?
A: The same as for the product, i.e. 1 year or 3 year.
