Resetting the CD server to factory defaults 

There are 4 way to set the CD-ROM Server to factory defaults.

1. With FTP: 

* Login with FTP. User: root, Password: pass (if not changed).

* Type the command: get defaults

* Restart the CD-ROM Server

2. Changing parameter in the config.ini file. 

* Connect to the CD-ROM Server and open the \config\config.ini file

* Set FactoryDefaults = yes

* Restart the CD-ROM Server

3. When you cannot connect to the Axis StorPoint CD-ROM Server. 

* Turn off the StorPoint CD.

* Press and hold the Push button while you switch on the StorPoint CD. Keep the Push button pressed until the Network indicator flashes at regular two second intervals. 
Caution M The StorPoint CD Token Ring model has a Ring Speed switch (small white slide switch) just under the push button. Take care not to change its position during this procedure.

* Release the Push button and wait at least two seconds (one flash of
the Network indicator).

* Press and hold the Push button for at least five seconds until the Network indicator remains constantly lit.

The StorPoint is now reset to factory default settings and will automatically restart.

4. When you cannot connect to the 85x/95x or StorPoint CD-ROM Server. 

* Turn off the power to the CD server

* Open the box

* Using a jumper, short cut the pins 1 and 2 of the 26-pin connector,

* Turn on the power

* The factory default will now be set. This will be indicated by the front panel LED's flashing.

* Turn off the power

* Remove the jumper

* Put the box back together

* Turn on the power 

The box will now be set to the parameter setting for factory default.
